16 Jul The Two Different Types of Moms: Which One Are You?
Let’s be real, some of us Moms just seem to have it all together, and some just make it by with what we’ve got! For the most part, there are two types of Moms out there, let’s call them Mom A and Mom B. Take this Quiz and see which Mom you are!
- What does the inside of your diaper bag look like?
2. What does your Shopping List look like?
3. How long does it take you and baby to get ready to leave the house?
Mom A: “I can get myself showered, dressed and ready, and have baby changed and dressed with diaper bag packed in exactly 43 minutes”
Mom B: “I don’t plan to meet anyone anywhere at any specific time. I can usually get us both out of the house within an hour and a half, but it varies”
4. What kind of Lunch do you eat?
Mom A: “I make my own lunch, or I will pop out and pick something up from the Salad Bar or To Go menu”
Mom B: “What lunch? I’m lucky if I get a granola bar. If I’m out and about, I’ll pick up some Wendy’s, or maybe even finish the baby food my child rejected and finish it off with a piece of gum”
5. What would you find at the bottom of your purse?
Mom A: a pen, my checkbook, lip gloss and some hair ties
Mom B: mystery crumbs, the lid of a pen, some spilled nail polish and 15 pennies
6. Does your phone often look like this?
Mom A: Never
Mom B: Yes
If you most often chose Mom A, you are a superstar. You have your sh** together and most people notice it right away. You’re a savvy Mom, easy going but prefers to plan ahead, organized and likes things in order. Looking for the thermometer? Ask Mom, she knows where everything is in the house at all times.
If you most often chose Mom B, you are juggling it all and somehow making it work. You don’t always find time for yourself, but you don’t seem to mind too much. You frequently wish there were more hours in the day because time management isn’t your best trait. You are fun loving, but a bit high strung. Your life feels out of order sometimes, but you are caring and attentive and have a hard time saying no to people.
No matter which Mom you are, you are doing a GREAT job! Being a Mom is hard work; it’s an additional 24 hour job on top of everything else you do, and takes a lot of energy and stamina. Keep it up Moms, you all ROCK!
